Black and White has turned to grey All the faces look the same Fragile echoes lightly sewn Where nostalgia makes a home Never here but never there Made from water, spun from air All the reasons they feel like lies You watch as your heart slowly dies It's complicated so they say But time has got away Life is Elsewhere somewhere else Never where you're standing So far from yourself Life is Elsewhere somewhere else And the whisper of tomorrow Promises so much There's a pain that's sharp and sure It's what you're living for Life is Elsewhere somewhere else Never where you're standing So far from yourself Life is Elsewhere somewhere else And the sweetness of your longing

Tomcat 04:20
The train has left the station The car has left the lot My heart is on vacation Don't want what I have not The winds are growing stronger The tide is coming in The nights are growing longer Wondering where you've been You can prowl like a tomcat You can howl like a dog at the moon You can cry like a little boy lost in the dark But you ain't coming back Anytime soon.

You came to me in a dream Which was nice But I couldn't possibly Not now I woke myself up brought myself around I don't have the time You served me yourself on a plate, Tall But it's too late to start something No, I know too much about the world behind you And in front of you You came to me In a dream You came to me in a dream Couleur - Coffee Cafe - Espresso Dejeuner a couleur cafe - instant in a foam cup Cafe au lait - guarana ou noir You came to me in a dream Wouldn't it be nice If I could make it a regular thing But who does the dreaming Who knows who's going to turn up Who knows who, who knows how who know who, who knows how You came to me in a dream We used to be real close and funny I couldn't stay, I woke myself up I can't let myself You came to me in a dream - coffee, espresso You came to me in a dream - instant, another spoonful You came to me in a dream - in a foam cup You came to me in a dream - espresso

Rebound 04:46
You kissed the sky You flied so high Now you can't feel the ground beneath your feet You gave it all But then the fall The only passage forward is to Return, Rebound To the sights and the sounds Return, Rebound To the sights and the sounds It's a slow burn, It's a long way home.

about

Wanderlust: it’s a lifelong condition. The scent of distant places, the fragments of otherness, a barely understood conversation with a lover you meet for a single night in a city you can’t begin to know. The power of somewhere else haunts my dreams.

This EP is set in a cinematic world of nostalgic future and romantic past. Echoes of 1960’s film scores blend with electronic textures to blur the line between evocative jazz noir soundtrack and dream pop.
